可及性服务

For nearly 15 years, Meridian社区学院 has been providing 可及性服务, which shows our dedication and support for students with documented disabilities. Our college and staff are dedicated to assisting you to achieve your educational goals by making the college’s facilities and programs accessible for all people.

Consistent with the mandates of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Meridian社区学院 is committed to providing individuals with disabilities equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from its educational programs and services. 支持服务 has been designated to coordinate the College’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities 根据这些法律.

Student 支持服务 provides members of special populations equal access to recruitment, enrollment and placement activities, the full range of educational programs available, as well as comprehensive career guidance and counseling services. 没有人会 discriminated against on the basis of their status as a member of a special population. We strive to encourage independence, assist students in realizing their academic potential and facilitate the elimination of physical, programmatic, and attitudinal barriers. 

Services for single parents and displaced homemakers include counseling, guidance in achieving career goals, advocacy support, community referrals and networking with 机构.
